The 21 Million Club: Exclusivity and Elitism in the World of Bitcoin Ownership

Exploring the Ultra-Rare Group of Individuals Who Own 1 Bitcoin or More and the Implications of Hyperbitcoinization

👋GM Valued Readers,

In our latest podcast, we delved into an intriguing topic that has been making waves in the crypto world: the rising number of wallet addresses holding one Bitcoin or more. As we discussed, this number is fast approaching one million, which is an impressive milestone by any measure.

However, a recent tweet by @MitchellHODL caught our attention, as it offered a deeper insight into this trend. According to his research, a mere 31,200 individual entities actually own one Bitcoin or more, which is a truly exclusive group of individuals. Dubbed the "21 Million Club", this elite circle is incredibly difficult to join, and requires a significant investment of time and resources.

It's worth noting that this group is even more exclusive than the number of millionaires in the world, which currently stands at between 50-55 million individuals. In fact, even if every millionaire were to purchase one Bitcoin, it would still not be enough for each of them to own at least one.

This realization sheds light on the potential scenarios that could emerge as hyper bitcoinization takes hold. With Bitcoin's current value hovering around $30,700, it is now within reach for more individuals to join this ultra-exclusive club. The prospect of being a part of this small, yet powerful, group of individuals is certainly enticing, and many are stacking sats towards this goal.

So, are you among those who are striving to become a part of the 21 Million Club? The allure of being part of the most elite club on the planet is a compelling one, and with Bitcoin's growing popularity and value, this group is only set to become even more exclusive in the years to come.
